HELLLLOOOO AUSTIN!
Are you ready to reconnect with true peace, clarity, purpose, and healing in your life? To release all that is holding you back, so that you can step into the highest, most aligned and empowered version of yourself?
If so, we invite you to join us and other Austinites and worldly travelers to the heart of the Sacred Valley of Peru for a transformative, week-long ayahuasca retreat to receive authentic healing with the power of plant medicine.
At Willka Runa Healing Center, we offer life changing plant medicine retreats that honor the traditions of Master Shipibo healers and indigenous plant medicines in a safe, supportive, intimate group setting.
Our mission is to empower you to remember who you truly are. To connect your mind, body, and spirit so that you can become a more embodied, integrated, and connected version of yourself.
Our belief is that it’s not about learning, it's about remembering. It is about connecting to what already is – connecting to our true inner self so we can connect to everything beyond. The process of healing begins when we start to restore balance into our body, detoxifying and releasing energy that no longer serves, awakening our memory, and connecting with the universal energy of love. That’s where the magic of life begins.
This is your opportunity to deepen your relationship to Self, enhance your relationship with others, and make lasting shifts in your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
If you are seeking deep healing, transformation, and spiritual growth, this is the space for you, and we welcome you with open arms.
The Experience
Dive into a truly holistic healing experience and spiritual pilgrimage in the heart of the Sacred Valley. This is an opportunity to be deeply nourished through the wisdom of nature, plant medicine ceremonies, and a variety of supportive modalities such as yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, and nutritious food. Our chef prepares vegetarian food served in accordance with a traditional ayahuasca dieta, and all of our food is sourced directly in the valley.
You will also enjoy:
Personal support and Zoom calls before and after the retreat to guide you through your preparation and integration process
Guided Meditations, yoga videos, and journaling prompts to support you in preparation and integration
Lifelong access to the Willka Runa community, resources and support system
Our Shaman
Our lead Shaman, Maestra Vilma, is from the native community of San Francisco in Ucayali, Pucallpa. Maestra Vilma comes from a long lineage of healers, and she was introduced to ayahuasca and started her first dieta at the age of 16. Currently, Maestra Vilma has over 20 years of experience working with and dieting a variety of master plants and plant medicines. Her true purpose and joy comes from sitting with Mother Ayahuasca and helping people heal.
Why both Ayahuasca and San Pedro (Huachuma)?
We offer both ayahuasca and huachuma. While ayahuasca is considered the feminine aspect of the medicines (Mother Ayahuasca), huachuma is the masculine aspect (Grandfather Huachuma). It is important to balance the masculine and feminine aspects in each of us to attain true healing.
Group Size
We intentionally keep our retreat groups small, with a maximum of 15 people. We do this to ensure that our guests receive the attention and support they deserve to feel safe and cared for, and also more connected to the group as a whole. This creates a more intimate and personalized atmosphere that separates us from other retreat centers, who tend to host much larger groups.
