Join us for our 4-week online class, Connecting To Your Nervous System for Emotional Flexibility, beginning in May. https://www.flourishinaustin.com/current-group-openings/nervous-system-regulation-workshop If you are finding it difficult to de-stress, turn down the intensity of anxiety, or shift out of exhaustion, our workshop will help you build the awareness and skills to be mindful of what is happening within your autonomic nervous system when you are stressed, anxious, or exhausted and what you can do to help recover.
In this class you will learn how to:
Build awareness of your nervous system state
Develop emotional flexibility through awareness and self-compassion
Connect with how your body responds to stressors
Bring in tools & skills to ‘hack’ your nervous system
Use different breathing techniques and body movements to recover from stress, fatigue, and overwhelm
The group will meet weekly via Zoom on Wednesday evenings 6:45pm-8:00pm beginning 5/22/24Â until 6/12/24. Classes will be educational and interactive and are co-facilitated by Peyton English LMSW and Inga Overstreet LPC graduate intern at Flourish Psychotherapy and Nutrition.
Classes will also be recorded for those who wish to watch at their own pace.
